If you are into mystery,suspense and lots of twists and turns mixed in with your romance then I'm sure you will love this book.
Gunner and Laney's story is complicated and full of roadblocks. There is murder and a drug trafficing scheme in their small town and Gunner who is a Texas Ranger has come back to investigate. Laney is a deputy and caught right in the middle of everything while she tries to uncover the truth while dealing with the feelings she thought she had eliminated for Gunner.
I enjoyed the story and will be reading more by Jodi Linton.

This novella is a continuation of Laney and Gunners story but can be read as a stand alone also.
As a Deputy Sheriff Laney is really good at finding trouble, her sexy as every boyfriend Texas Ranger Gunner just adds to the excitement. Then throw in some humor and intrigue and you will have a story that will keep those pages turning and wanting to know where this story will go next. The list of characters just gets wilder and wilder and I can't wait to find out what will happen with Luke in future books.
