Resist Me… Izzy’s story… I am not sure what to say about it.

For me a really good book will give you an emotional ride. I want it to excite me, entertain me, tell me a story that makes sense, make me laugh, make me cry, sometimes even make me want to throw the book (or kindle) across the room because the characters frustrate me… But I want to feel something…

This series has giving me that in each book, but Resist me is by far the best so far. Izzy has been a favorite character since book one and I was excited to finally get to read her story. She is head strong, bossy, and stubborn, yet she has a soft side and need to be taken care of.

James has been working with her brother on a big case, and is everything that Izzy thinks she wants to avoid. He is just like her brothers as far as she can see it and yet she can’t help being drawn to him.

This book has lots of action, both in the HOT love scenes and in the action and suspense that Chelle Bliss is so good at bringing to life in her stories.

“I need to undress,” she said, tapping her foot as she stared at me. “I don’t have my bag of clothes and I can’t wear this shit to bed.”

“I’ve seen it all.”

Her clothing didn’t do much to hide what I already knew lay underneath. The skintight jeans that narrowed around her ankle just above the black high heels had my dick aching. I wanted to feel the bite of them against my skin as I pounded into her.

“I was drunk,” she groaned, her eyes growing into little slits.
