About the Author
Even before she graduated from law school, Mary Whitney knew
she wasn’t cut out to be a real lawyer. Drawn to politics, she’s spent her
career as an organizer, lobbyist, and nonprofit executive. Nothing piques her
interest more than a good political scandal or romance, and when she stumbled
upon writing, she put the two together. A born Midwesterner, naturalized Texan,
and transient resident of Washington, D.C., Mary now lives in Northern
California with her two daughters and real lawyer husband.
My Review:
I'm not into politics and since this book was based in Washington around politicians I wasn't really expecting to like it, but Surprisingly enough I did. ;)
Michael, a Republican Congressman and Jessie, a Democratic Congresswoman are such an unlikely couple and face many obstacles in the way of their relationship, but the story is endearing and I very much enjoyed it and look forward to reading more of Mary Whitney's books.

My Review:
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and had a really good story line. I enjoyed how the characters were developed over a period of time and how you got to see the growth of each character. There were some parts that may not be for everyone, but it was a well written novella.
The only part that confused me, and I think it is because this is the first book I have read from this series, is that at the very end there were characters introduced that I hadn't heard of. It didn't take away from this story at all, but I knew I had missed something. If you were reading this book as part of the series I'm sure that would be explained. I hope you enjoy this book as I did.

Delisa Lynn grew up in Columbus Ohio and loves Buckeye
football. After working in retail photography for sixteen years, she wanted to

Harder I Fall

Jessica Gibson is a recovering bookaholic, she's down from four books a week to a more reasonable one. It was that love of words and creativity that made her dream about writing her first book. My Review:
I very much enjoyed this book. It was an endearing story of a dancer who had a very hard life and the struggle she went trough to overcome her past. The love she finds along the way and the battle between the past and the present is an emotional ride but I couldn't put it down.
It has everything I want in a book it entertained me, I was able to get lost in the story and just enjoy it. Great Job Jessica Gibson on an outstanding story.
